Here at the Darien Church of God we are lead by a mighty man and woman of God who allows God to guide their footsteps. We have different ministries to offer to our congregation and visitors. Come and experience anointed preaching, and uplifting praise and worship!

Pastor: Reverend Tommy Whaley Reverent Whaley has been in the ministry for 43 years. He received his ministering licence through the Church of God in 1976. He has pastored several churches throughout his ministry. Reverend Whaley has pastored the Darien Church of God for 35 years.	Sister Patricia Whaley Sis. Whaley is the first lady here at the Darien Church of God. She helps to oversee each ministry within our church. We are highly blessed to be under her direction.
Reverend and Mrs. Tommy Whaley Reverend Tommy Whaley and his lovely wife Sis. Patricia Whaley have been married for 45 years. They have three children, Karey, Hope and Jerry. Their children are great assets to their ministry. They have 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. We are blessed here at the Darien Church of God to call them pastor.	Ladies Ministry The Darien Church of God Ladies Ministry meets once a month. During this meeting, the ladies discuss upcoming events within our church. The ladies ministry in our church is a vital component to our church.
Step By Step Youth Ministry The Step by Step youth MInistry meets on Wednesday nights at 7;30. The youth group meets in the Activity Center. The youth are involved in worship, singing, classes for all ages, fun, and games!	The Willing Vessels The Willing Vessels Ministry is a nursing home ministry. These individuals visit the local nursing home once a month. They bring the word of God with preaching and worship of singing. These individuals are such a blessing to the elders in this home by bringing the light of Christ
